International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is once again sponsoring International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is Saturday, November 17, 2018.  This is one day a year when people touched by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities to find comfort and gain understanding as they share stories of healing and hope.  This Saturday loss survivors around the globe will gather in small and large events while growing together in their grief journey.  Each event is unique and offers various programming, however each event site will feature an AFSP documentary that offers a message of growth, resilience and connection.  Click on the following link to watch previous documentaries: The Journey: A story of Healing and Hope and The Journey Revisited; Life Journeys: Reclaiming Life After Loss; Family Journeys: Healing and Hope After a Suicide –

Suicide Loss Day Sites in Indiana

There are 8 registered Loss Day sites throughout the state of Indiana:  Fort Wayne, Anderson, Chesterton, Granger, Indianapolis (2), Jeffersonville and Princeton.  Click here for more details for each site.
