
In January, we posted about the new Syringe Services Program open in Allen County. (Read post here: https://lookupindiana.org/syringe-services-program-now-open/). Three months later, Health Commissioner Dr. Deborah McMahan gives an update in an interview with The Journal Gazette.
“I think that’s a good sign that they’re trusting that they can come in here, make the exchange and be done,” McMahan said. “I think we’re saving emergency rooms and urgent care centers some expense by treating some of these infections before they become a problem as well.”
